This pot is very nice and beautiful. I will hope it is very durable. As far as the "Pot holders", they are ridiculous, leave them out; and the "cookbook", it is not accurate and written poorly, leave it out. Example, the cheesecake directions mention adding the flour and flour was never listed in the ingredients.

It was a wedding shower gift and the future bride loved it

Very good and much cheaper than the French version. very good for slow cooking, doesn't seem as heavy as the French more expensive version.
