100% too expensive, but they work great and have stopped the accidental unmounting of my external drives.

Holds securely but there are serious inconveniences.These are best used with OWC devices. I have both an OWC Thunderbolt dock and a Thunderbay.The dock Thunderbolt ports seem to fit cables more loosely and therefore more prone to accidental disconnects than any other Thunderbolt devices I use.The Cling Ons help rectify that but they create their own problems. Even using OWC-branded Thunderbolt cables it's a tight fit. You need to push the cable through the Cling On before attaching it. This means that while attaching the Cling On you insert the cable into the port as well. You can remove the adhesive to help secure the fit and then use the screw to fit the hole specific to OWC Thunderbolt devices.The problem is that once attached you lose the convenience of plug-and-play that Thunderbolt provides. If you pull out the cable I found it impossible to insert it back in without removing the Cling On basically making the adhesive nearly useless. Having to remove the Cling On and go through the procedure to reattach is a major hassle. I wish OWC had better fitting Thunderbolt ports or otherwise rethought the Cling On design for easier removal and re-insertion of the OWC Thunderbolt Cable.While it serves its purpose it's otherwise a poor design that needs to be addressed.

Late to deliver but works well with OWC hub needed to prevent inadvertent drive disconnect

This product is excellent but significantly overpriced. Given the design of the OWC hub, where the USB-C connector tends to become loose and detach easily, this item should really be included with the hub. It’s essentially a $0.99 accessory, yet the current price is unjustifiably high.

The adhesive is too weak to do anything but annoy you when you have to deliberately disconnect a cable.These would be overpriced if they worked. As they are, they're a complete waste of money and time. OWC should discontinue this embarrassment.p.s. They might work if you're connecting OWC enclosures that have a screw hole that fits the optional thumb screws. But most of them don't have this, and your computer doesn't. The screw hole just makes them ever so slightly less useless.
