This is a great PeakDesign product - very light weight, packs in a very neat and slim thing, super easy to put in your bag. Once out, it's robust, light and will last! I've used to groceries, going to the beach- you name it. Also, as a bonus, it's very easy to clean from the sand and relatively stain-proof.

I have a couple peak design items and Peak Design never disappoints. It packs small and the zipper closure is very useful so I can just toss the bag somewhere without worrying if things fall out. It holds quite a bit of stuff and the strap is quite comfortable.I was looking for a packable tote bag to bring on my trip to Japan if I needed to carry some extra things. My wife told me this would never be used, but we ended up using it almost everyday in Japan. Groceries? Bring out the tote. Souvenirs? Bring out the tote. Takeaway sushi/ramen? Bring out the tote. Especially in Japan when you can't bring your luggage everywhere, this tote comes in handy when you need to carry a little bit extra.

Just a brilliant little bag that packs so much in, looks great, and packs light. It is the BEST tote. Unsurprised because it is Peak Design, and I expect nothing less from a top quality company.

This my second Peak Design packable tote. I've been using the first one for over a year for literally all of my grocery shopping. So far it's holding up remarkably well, and I love the overall design, look, and functionality. The charcoal color even looks elegant, I'd say.The zipper on the top makes a huge functional difference: Even during normal grocery shopping it feels great to be able to properly close the bag without anything showing. Also, this way it actually makes a really decent everyday shoulder bag when you want to pack light, for example packing for the beach.Additionally, it can be used as a travel gear too, similarly to the new ultralight packing cubes. The difference is that if you use this tote bag instead, you get an incredibly useful and comfortable shoulder strap for carrying it outside your luggage when needed. And it's not even more expensive.This second purchase, in 2024, is a bit different from my previous item: It feels that it's made out of a somewhat thicker material, it's 91 grams instead of 84, the stitching is black on the newer instead of a lighter brownish-grey color on the older, and it packs into a somewhat larger pocket. By the way, the pocket fits perfectly a base iPhone or Galaxy S23/24 model, but you cannot button it up, and the button might conceivably even scratch the device, although fortunately it's plastic, not metal.
