This box is actually stronger tham it looks. You can stand on it and it won't crush. You can knock it off the chest freezer onto your kitchen tiles and your phone inside will be fine and the box will still be waterproof afterwards. It seems to be made of a different plastic to the larger Peli boxes and looks much more fragile, but is in reality very tough.You can use this one to bury your phone and keys under the sand at the beach or attach a strap to it and carry that stuff into the sea with you. That's what everybody seems to be using this sized box for. Those roll up bags break down over time, this item will not.Peli (or Pelican as it is known outside Europe) is one of the top brands for protective cases. I use there larger cases for high-end photography equipment. They are expensive (up to £1000 for the largest size) but they have a very good reputation which is totally justified. They are incredibly strong, genuinly waterproof and they float on water.The label says it's not for swimming with, but I tested it and it is fine, I am not worried about my phone in it.
