Writes very smooth, doesn't smear, and the clock function is silent. Great pen and highly recommend.

This pen has good ink quality and a good price. The bottom half is rubbery which gives fingers a good grip. The reason I did not give it five stars is that I did not realize it's a little too fat for my writing comfort. If you feel the same, may I recommend the Uni Jetstream Slim Compact, another 0.5 tri-color pen. They call it, Slim, but it's not skinny, they may want to differentiate it from other tri-color pens which are usually fat. The rubbery barrel is medium so it's remarkable they can fit three refills. Just as good ink quality and price as this pen.

The grip is amazing it definitely won’t fall out of your hands.When switching between colors no jamming in between. Overall this is a great product besides the high price for a pen.Edit: The pen broke while screwing the top to the bottem with a hairline fracture

Because this pen one an award for in excellence of stationery, I was very disappointed in this product. The ink does not flow smoothly at all, and I tried everything: soaking the tip and hot water, shaking it vigorously, writing for an extended period of time, and nothing worked. Sadly it's in the return pile.
