I have now likw 30 different sensors connected to it. I'm using thier phoscon app via docker container and it works fine. I have connected XiAomi sensors, BlitzWolf smart plugs, hue bulbs and Tradfri bulbs. Easy to add and manage them with the Phoscon app. Im using Home Assistant for controlling and monitoring them.Only issue i seen is when my docker container (Phoscon app) goes down, some of the Xiaomi sensor got disconnected and i had to manually add them again but I think it's the sensor issue rather than Conbee stick.I would also advice to have couple of smart bulbs and smart plugs in between as they will works a repeater for the conbee's zigbee network if you have lots of sensors like me. That covers the 3 floors I have here.I definitely recommend Conbee 2, I even bought a second one for my parents home.

Home Assistant voor een Asustor NAS (draaiende in Docker) werkt prima met deze gateway. De Zigbee Home Automation integratie laat zich na het zelfs automatisch herkend te worden van de ConBee II (geef de boel wel even de tijd na opstarten) vlekkeloos instellen en voor je het weet ben je modules aan het pairen.deCONZ installeren is me niet gelukt maar dat geeft ook veder niet. Was er wel benieuwd naar en hoe het zou werken maar dat is echt weer alleen voor een RaspberryPi (die niet of nauwelijks leverbaar zijn nu).Het bereik van de stick tot de eerste zigbee module valt een beetje tegen, wat op te lossen was door een tussenliggende permanent gevoede module strategisch tussen de rest te plaatsen die dan de zigbee router werd. Vergeet 2 verdiepingen in een moderne woning met kalkzandstenen muren en betonnen vloeren maar, dat gaat echt niet. 1 verdieping is de max qua tussenliggende afstand. Het totale netwerk kan natuurlijk zo groot worden als je zelf wilt.Een bijpassende USB standaard zou ik er wel bijkopen als die er was. Me er rot naar gezocht, een verlengkabeltje met zo'n standaardje waar je de stick dan rechtop in kan steken. Die het ik wel voor de Z-Stick (Z-Wave gateway).

Een goede Zigbee dongle met gebruiksvriendelijke software. Zelf gebruik ik deze I.c.m. een Raspberry pi 3B en Home Assistant + DeConz plugin. Net begonnen maar de Ikea en Aqara apparaten werken uitstekend!

Product was gisteren binnen gekomen en natuurlijk gelijk aangesloten op mijn Home Assistant Setup.Bij het toevoegen zag ik dat er een update klaar stond voor de firmware van de stick. Deze natuurlijk gelijk uitgevoerd maar dat verliep niet helemaal zoals gehoopt. De stick werkte niet meer. Na het doorzoeken van diverse fora de tip gezien dat de firmware nog een keer uitgevoerd diende te worden. Aangezien dat niet werkte via de GUI de stick in een van mijn systemen gestoken en de software daar op geïnstalleerd. Update opnieuw uitgevoerd en toen kon de stick het netwerk weer vinden en benaderen. Het was even puzzelen maar dan heb je ook wat.Nu in ieder geval alle Tradfri spullen toegevoegd incl. wat Hue dimmers. Heerlijk om alles via het zelfde systeem straks te kunnen beheren en er geen noodzaak meer is voor al die bridges in de LM kast.

There are much better alternatives available. Unfortunately I had to buy this one to discover this.

As it turns out mine never worked. After a few weeks of trying to get it to work, it turned out that the stick itself was broken and was not always making good contact in the USB port. This resulted is weird and inconsistent behavior.I wished I realised the issue sooner so I could have returned this product.

Integrates well with ZHA + home assistant in raspberry PI

Lo tengo instalado en una raspberry pi 3+ junto a otro usb zwave. Funciona perfectamente, pero hay que tener en cuenta que para que funcione tiene que detectarlo como el primer USB, y el zwave como el segundo. Esto probablemente sea una limitación de Hassio y no del módulo ConBee propiamente.Hassio lo detectó perfectamente y funciona muy bien. El alcance no es muy grande a pesar de lo publicitado, y me llega apenas a la planta superior. Hace falta repeaters si necesita abarcar mas distancia. El módulo zwave tiene mas alcance, aunque el zigbee tengo la impresión que es más rápida la comunicación.En Hassio le di de alta con el módulo zha y tengo funcionando los sensores de movimiento de Xiaomi. Es inmediata la comunicación, sin ningún retraso.

Had this for a while, but only recently got around to setting it up with my Domoticz HA. Deconz (the software from the manufacturer) is easy to get and install. It just worked for me. Got to the companion 'web app' that is installed with it, click to add a sensor, press the button on the do-hickie, and off you go! Much better than I expected and they have support for a lot of gadgets in there. I've only added the aquaria stuff so far, but that was failed to add back into my aquaria hub for some reason, and this just detected them. Too a couple goes to pair some stuff, but I belive that is fairly normal. Seems like a good product.
