This is perfect for getting the lighter dust and debris off your records. It’s not ideal for heavier contamination and you’ll need a better stiffer brush and probably also cleaning solution with a suitable pad polisher, but this brush isn’t intended for heavier contamination anyhow. This is good to have for the lighter stuff and this brush has very soft bristles that will not ever damage anything. Price is fantastic, how can you go wrong here? You can’t. It’s an easy product to recommend

If you are getting into records like I am, you'll want one of these. I feel a lot better about using the soft bristles to get an errant cat hair or piece of dust off the record. For your thrift store records you'll want a more heavy-duty cleaning solution but this is perfect for occasional dust.
