Revell 07651 London Bus 1:24 Schaal Ongebouwd/Ongelakt Plastic Model Kit

Espectacular y además creo que el único modelo existente en el mercado de este autobús en esta escala. Aunque la calidad de Revell deja un poco que desear con el buen montaje de las piezas. He tenido que modificar unas cuantas para que encajaran donde debían, pero aparte de eso, por lo demás muy bien y viene muy bien de detalles. Las calcas incluso a pesar del tamaño se leen perfectamente

When buying this I had been modelling for about 2 years and I was ready to tackle some larger projects. This is a VERY large project. the main factor was the interior which is well worth it as you can easily see it through the windows. The detail is very good with good quality plastic that fits together well, I would actually recommend spraying or airbrushing your chosen colour on as it gives a nice finish. As I said work out how much spare time you have before undertaking this project. things I would recommend are revell or humbrol clear fix to attach the many windows which do fog up. Also humbrol MASKOL or revell modelling tape is good if you put the windows in before painting but otherwise you can put them in after painting. A very good project, I can't talk about the money as it was £25 when I got it but it seems to have gone up when I write this. I highly recommend this for intermediate to experienced modellers which time on their hands.

This a huge kit I am taking a lot more time with this than any other I have done for a while. There is a lot of painting to do so be patient and let stages dry. I find it better to paint several stages ahead so I can have some sessions just assembling. I have not completed it and am just starting the outside body but I have to say I am enjoying this one alot!!

Ein wirklich gelungenes Modell eines "typischen Londoner Busses", das Revell rechtzeitig zur Olympiade London 2012 auf den Markt warf - allerdings als Souvenir ungeeignet, der Karton passt recht schlecht in das heute immer knappere Reisegepäck. Garantiert nicht für Einsteiger in den Plastikmodellbau geeignet, weist dies Modell eines Routemaster RML sehr viele Details auf und man baut das Fahrzeug wirklich mit allem Drum und Dran. Zwei Motoren stehen zur Auswahl, die Inneneinrichtung ist komplett vorhanden und sehr genau nachgebildet. Einzig der Abziehbildbogen trübt ein wenig den guten Gesamteindruck, denn Revell liefert hier Beschriftungen, die vielleicht ein auf den ersten Blick stimmiges, im Detail aber sehr verbesserungswürdiges Bild zeichnen. Dennoch - absolute Kaufempfehlung. Wenn man sich das Modell zutraut. Die nur drei Sterne bei der Haltbarkeit sollen übrigens nur anzeigen, dass dies kein Brumm-Brumm-Spielzeug ist und einen Platz in der Vitrine, nicht auf dem Spielteppich verdient. ;)
