When years ago I bought my Buffet E11, I was told I should upgrade my mouthpiece as soon as possible (and I duly did so, purchasing a Vandoren B40), but that the ligature wouldn't make that much of a difference, to it took me easily 12 years (during some of which admittedly I wasn't actively playing the clarinet) to decide to buy a new ligature.After quite some research I decided to go for this one as it had been recommended to me and it was among the cheap options and, boy, did it change the feel of my clarinet!!! Straight away it became a different instrument, much more responsive and easier to play on the high register, much less prone to squeak.I am looking forward to trying other ligatures (and mouthpieces), seeing how much difference this one made for me.Affordable as it is, I think it's a really really good option for beginners and advanced players alike.

My husband uses it. He is pleasantly surprised that with this ligature, he is able to attain a higher pitch than before.
