Great microphone protector

cheap broke 2 days after I used them

I have a high end mic for podcasting, but still find myself having to edit out or attenuate the occasional plosive pop or click from time to time, so I decided to add a pop screen to the setup. This was my fourth try... The over the mic shield type screens interfere with the shock mount, hence didn't work. And, most of the goose-necks are either too long or too floppy to stay in place exactly where I want them. This one's perfect! It isn't the highest quality filter screen of those I tried, but it works well enough and most importantly stays in place exactly where I need it. If you're using a shorter mic stand like mine ( ) and a mic that doesn't extend substantially beyond the shock mount, this is the perfect setup. I'm very glad I found it.

The glue holding the filter to the stem broke and the filter would not stay in place. Returned it and bought a filter specific to my Samson G track pro

This broke in multiple places the first week I had it. I immediately returned it with no problems.
