Just what I was looking for. I read the reviews before ordering and reviewers were right, the bristles do not fall out of this brush. I have several new pair of DOC Martens, and this brush is keeping them looking new.

This shoe brush is quite sturdy. When brushing, its hair shedding is minimal, unlike the cheap brushes that make a mess. It's also not too coarse for my liking, which is ideal for routing dry brushing (before moist cloth wiping) with little risk of damaging the leather surface.Even though I got the brown-haired version, the bristle hairs appear to be natural(?), and they do not add, reduce, or alter the colouring on any of my brown or black shoes. I did not try this on white leather, of course, because delicate colours require dedicated brushes.
