I took an inordinately LONG time to pick out a multi-device keyboard for my iMac, iPad, and to a lesser extent, iPhone. I finally picked this one because of its unique "cut/copy/paste" keyboard shortcut, amongst its other features.I was pleasantly surprised that I'll be able to use my much-admired "keyboard-shortcut silicone skin" (although it doesn't cover the numeric pad). I'll also have the option to buy other aftermarket skins in the future as I find them CRUCIAL, since I often eat and drink right next to my computer![**edit** so I went ahead and got a new keyboard skin for the "Magic Keyboard with Numeric Keypad MQ052LL/A A1843 US Layout" and it doesn't fit the Satechi as one piece (as shown in the above pics). I'm going to cut the middle key section and numeric keypad section so that it at least provides SOME protection for this area of the keypad. I wouldn't say this takes away from the Satechi's effectiveness as an Apple Magic Keyboard replacement, it just requires a little slicing and dicing to accomplish the protection I desire for this totally rad aftermarket keybord.]***I read many, MANY reviews but haven't experienced any of the connectivity issues or quirky anomalies mentioned by some amazon reviewers. The only weird thing I've experienced is that in System Preferences>Bluetooth the battery capacity shows that the keyboard has no battery left even though I charged it for 6+ hours and the keyboard is functioning perfectly. It may just be my computer because my Magic Mouse is showing empty as well, but my Trackpad is showing full. IDK, I'll have to tinker with it. Overall, I believe this Satechi keyboard is the best option if you want a numeric keypad and keyboard completely dedicated to the Apple ecosystem. If this keyboard doesn't work when I run Bootcamp (Windows) then I'll just switch back to my Magic Keyboard. All-in-all I'm pretty stoked and I'm glad I picked this multi-device option over the others….**I’ll *try* to update my long term experience, particularly with the purported connectivity issues (I haven’t experienced any yet)

Love it. Better than Apple products and beautiful to type on a large keyboard. Did not want or need the number pad... However, have used it a few times and very quick and natural to use! I guess it’s a bit like old school mechanical keyboards... can’t recommend enough. Satechi is my new favourite thing! Wish they sold more accessories...

Clavier très bien conçu et largement mieux je pense que le "Magickeyboard" de Apple:J'ai testé les deux et il y a une différence remarquable...Sur le SATECHI La frappe des touches et sans bruit ou un bruit sourd peut-on dire sinon;La course des touches conçues avec la technologie "ciseau" pour moi est suffisante(juste ce qu'ilfaut à mon avis pour avoir une saisi rapide tout en gardant la sensation d'appuyer sur destouches physiques). En comparaison le "Magickeyboard" fait un petit bruit sec mais la coursede ses touche est trop courte pour ma part;Design: très bien réussi, en version blanche aussi(ma version). socle en aluminium brossé;La finition très fine en aluminium brossé est du meilleur effet en plus de la légèreté du produit.On sent que le clavier est robuste / Il n'y a pas de distorsion comme pour l'autre marqueévoquée un peu plus haut..."Vaut le prix même si on aurait souhaité un peu moins chers tout de même."C'est un excellent achat!!!

I am using this to replace my confusing German keyboard rather than the keyboard on my laptop. Also, the number pad is great. Just what I needed.

Ergonomie parfaite (identique au clavier Apple) et des fonctions supplémentaires utiles comme le fait de pouvoir le jumeler avec 3 appareils différents et passer d'un appareil à l'autre par une simple touche ! De plus, la charge plus important que celle des Apple (ça, c'est pas très difficile…)
