Great tube. It is exactly as expected. Not a counterfeit.I'm switching over from latex tubes to PTU tubes for part-time gravel riding. I used to be tubeless but I got tired of cleaning and refilling with sealants.

I've ridden nothing but latex tubes in light-casing or hand-glued tires on four bikes for the past 10 or so years. Over the past couple of years, haven't been able to keep my latex tubes inflated every week, and found out the hard way that repeated flatting and re-inflating latex tubes causes the glue at the valve stem to give up.First tried a urethane tube on my road bike rear. I was set back by the plastic valve stem, and not being able to remove a valve core to add Stan's for a quick flat repair.However, the urethane tubes will hold pressure for months, and if it's true they self-seal, don't need the Stan's, anyway.Easier to install than any tube, with the exception of making sure the bead gets under the tube on both sides of the wheel I'll upgrade my spares.This past weekend, made my first ride with two urethane tubes on my rando, which had been sitting idle with two latex tubes leaking at the valve stem. No chatter, no shock - it's distributed through the carcass, and they don't have to warm up like latex tubes.I'll be converting the rest of my wheels to urethane tubes, though it's an investment...
