Fitted this easily under the back seat of my F150.The sound from my aftermarket stereo wasn’t so good, worse than original but I wanted car play.This gave me more than enough bass to turn the system around to sound like a premium sound system, slightly better than an OEM upgraded system but obviously not high end aftermarket. But this is all i was looking for so I’m impressed by it for the price.I’d do it again!

Last weekend, I replaced the stock stereo (with a 10.1" touch screen) and stock speakers (with 4-way Sony 4x6" and 3-way Pioneer 6.5") in my '98 Chevy S10. I did NOT hook up this subwoofer at the time (was too tired then), so I drove around for a week with music devoid of bass. It sounded good (better than stock), but there just was no bass. This weekend, I tackled this subwoofer installation. I used the included hook part of the hook-and-loop pieces (what most generically call Velcro), along with a few other large pieces I had on-hand to secure it to the back wall between the seats (behind the center console). The bottom half of that wall is carpeted, so the hooks grabbed nicely and secured it well. I then ran all the cabling (the hardest part was getting the positive cable through the firewall to the fuse box input). People whine about the positive and negative cables in these reviews, but they're fine (I'm not having any issues, and I like that the insulation is so thick since you don't want that getting rubbed through and contacting the chassis, though I still placed mine within flex tubing). I was so excited when I cranked my truck and (after powering on the unit) heard that bass; it was incredible! Deep bass filled the entire cab! The lighting is a really cool touch, too! I am very satisfied. It's neat to see that speaker moving in an out behind that large spider... just looks nice. The box is solid; very well-built. Connections are tight. I've a radio with one RCA output each for connecting up to 2 subwoofers. I used a Y-splitter off of the radio's SW1 output to connect to the RCA L and R inputs of the subwoofer after doing some research on-line and learning how that worked. Also, I didn't need to make any adjustments to the 3 recessed potentiometers on the subwoofer; their default settings seem fine to me. Oh, and don't forget to ensure the subwoofer is on when you test it! While installing it, I must have turned mine off, but I thought it was on since the blue lighting ring was on... but there was no bass... then I realized the switch was off. As soon as I pushed it, I was amazed at the enhanced sound of my system! Also, if you connect the blue wire properly to the remote on the subwoofer, the unit will power off when your radio powers off, so there's no need to continually manually power it on and off. Highly recommended unit! In fact, a friend of mine liked my new system so much after hearing it yesterday, he's ordering the same components now to replace his stock system in his vehicle.

Product did not come with anything but the main unit. I’m unable to mount it or wire the unit even though I paid extra for the full kit. Now I’m afraid of re ordering after my refund to have this happen again.

YES, this looks like an affordable option, which it is. I saw a ton of good reviews so I jumped on this while on sale…”can’t be that bad if everyone says it’s great, right?” I thought so too.Product arrived in slightly dented box (Trust me I get it, I work in the freight industry so things happen)Product appears fine, I switched out everything from my old unit) Instal was easy (I already knew what to do). Didn’t work.“Okay I messed up somewhere”, so I ran a test with the old unit I had (also cheap but did the job) used new units wiring to ensure all wiring was still good.Old unit worked….No worries, I understand things like this happen.I reach out to company asking for replacement. No response ever.Then I reach out to Amazon. They send me return label and everything. Took to shipper and done.Still have yet to receive an email from shipper or Amazon….. I’m guessing there was some type of replacement conversion happening and nothing was relayed.. IDK, nor do I care…Save your money and get a Kicker or Rockville powered sub. Yes more expensive but worth the money and customer service.
