Shekyeon 2yards Hackle Feather Trim Jurk Decoratie (Geel)

I got the brilliant idea to hand make my baby boys Halloween costume for this year, and decided he would be Hei Hei from the Disney movie Moana. This feather trim was perfect for the top yellow layer of his costume and was very easy to sew on. The only downside is that the trim does not have any stretch to it, so depending on where you are putting it, its important to leave enough slack so that you can stretch it to get it on. Overall its an excellent feather accent and I was very happy with the outcome!

The trim is the correct length, however, the images that depict full trim are misleading. The feathers average 3" in length with a few longer here and there. The feathers are a single layer with not a single area of overlap. If they had staggered or doubled up feathers, this would have better reflected the fullness displayed in the advertised images. For real feathers, I suppose the price is fine.

Used for fringe around a Plague Doctor mask for sort of a Big Bird look. Feathers don't pull out easily. Fabric works well with hot glue.

Great quality feathers - vibrant yellow, none of the feathers were broken. Would definitely purchase again.
