Ist schnell montiert, eingestellt und funktioniert. Für den Preis geht das völlig in Ordnung. Einzig die Klemmung für den Bowdenzug finde ich nicht besonders gut gelöst. An der alten Bremse, welche sich durch verschlissene Federn nicht mehr vernünftig ausrichten ließ war eine Klemmschraube mit Bohrung vorhanden, hier wird der Zug lediglich stumpf eingeklemmt.

Eccellenti, li ho montati su una vecchia bici da strada, in sostituzione dei Cantilever originali. L'effetto frenante è molto più forte, e sono in generale più sicuri. Ho solo avuto qualche problema di adattamento perché il telaio non era predisposto per i cavi che arrivano lateralmente come questi freni richiedono, ma con un po' di fantasia ho risolto egregiamente.I freni arrivano corredati di tutti gli accessori per il montaggio, fatta eccezione naturalmente per cavi di acciaio e guaine, che solitamente sono abbinati ai kit delle leve freno.Molto soddisfatto, prodotto eccellente.

I've built myself a "special" made up of an old-but-good frame and two wheels that I built myself. The other parts came from my spares bin. The rear wheel has a coaster brake, so I only need a front brake fitted.Shimano components are unfailingly good, so I had no hesitation in buying this. I could have bought the perfectly-good Clarkes or Tektro, but went for excellence instead.This will give me the extra sensitivity I need and will look much better than the pressed steel one I have at the moment.(Why do I need extra sensitivity? It's because a coaster brake cannot bring you to a full stop. You have to release the brake a moment before coming to a stop in order to get the pedals into the right position for restarting; coaster brakes are for slowing down only. You need a controllable front brake to come to a stop where you want to be on the road.)
