El potenciometro se nos entrega en una bolsa con cierre de presión.Tras sacarlo venos un potenciometro de los que llevan la parte de la resistencia tapada con metal para hacer de apantallamaiento, como los usados en audio y así evitar interferencias.Este tiene una resistencia total de 5 Kilo ohmios (5K) y es Lineal, no es logarítmico por lo que no podrás usarlo correctamente, por poner un ejemplo, para subir/bajar el volumen de un amplificador pero si para otras muchas cosas donde los Lineales funcionan perfectamente.Dispone de tres terminales para poder soldar los cables a el, e incluyen el agujero para poder pasar por el el cable.Son para colocar en panel y disponen de la tuerca y arandela para poderlo fijar a este.La pega negativa que le pongo es que lo veo excesivamente elevado de costo para tratarse de solo una unidad, por lo demás funciona perfectamente.Espero que esta reseña te haya sido útil 👍

i like making driving simulator controllers, so i use a few potentiometers in them.Of course i had to try to save money initially by buying those packs of cheap potentiometers that were like 5 for £4.99, that proved to be false economy, after trying 2 packs of those cheap potentiometers i ended up with about 3 of them that i could use.So i decided to try one of these.They are physically larger than the other potentiometers i was using, so i had to adjust my design to accommodate them.Measuring them with a multimeter before using them in a controller it was nice to see the resistance reading moving up and down as i rotated the shaft nicely, it was the same when i read the voltage output from connecting a power supply to each end of the carbon track ... no large jumps or dead spots as you often see in cheaper potentiometers.Using the controller with this potentiometer fitted gives a nice stable signal to the simulator (via an arduino) it also has a slightly larger active range than the cheap smaller potentiometers have, which is nice as often when you drive the potentiometer to the end of it's rotational range the signal jumps about,That's doesn't seem to happen with these.There are more expensive potentiometers available, but for most home hobby use these will be a nice quality upgrade if you are used to using those cheap ones.
