This SmallRig precision-engineered handle is a delight to use. Attached to the cage on my A7RV, it transforms a somewhat unwieldy pairing of camera and cage into a comfortable, stable handheld device. Despite the added weight, it is great in the hands. The handle detaches from its mount on the cage in seconds, and it is fully adjustable--it works with you. You can obtain the optimal handle angle to the subject by pressing a release button on the handle. There's no need to remove one's hand from the handle. A wonderful addition to my kit.

Der SMALLRIG Schnellspanner-Seitengriffkommt gut verpackt im Karton und inklusive darin befestigtem Innensechskantschlüssel.Die Verarbeitung finde ich bestens, keinerlei scharfe Kanten und alles aus Metall. Macht einen sehr hochwertigen und robusten Eindruck. Die Silikongel-Gummierung des Griffs finde ich ebenso gut gelöst, so liegt er ideal in der Hand.Der Griff ist ideal dafür, um ihn an einem Kamera Cage zu montieren. Mit Hilfe der mitgelieferten kleinen NATO-Schienen-Halterung mit zwei Schrauben kann man den Griff an den 1/4 Zoll-Gewindebohrungen des Kamera Cages anbringen, um sie richtig sicher zu fixieren, muss man den mitgelieferten Innensechskant verwenden.Im Inneren des Griffs ist eine magnetische Halterung für den Innensechskant, so dass man den immer dabei haben kann.Erweiterungsmöglichkeiten:Sehr praktisch ist auch die Cold Shoe-Verankerung oben im Griff: hier kann man weiteres Zubehör mit entsprechendem Format anbringen (Mikrofon, Monitor, Licht etc.)Außerdem ist oben auch ein kkleines H21-Element zur Verankerung von noch mehr Zubehör...Riemenlöcher: Der Griff verfügt an beiden Seiten über Riemenlöcher: Hier kann man z.B. eine Schlaufe oder einen Gurt zur Sicherung montieren. Ich habe Peak Design-Anker angebracht, um das System auch damit nutzen zu können. Sehr praktisch!Und man kann den Griff einfach 360° drehen, man muss eben nur seitlich den "Drücker" betätigen um die Verankerung zu lösen...Der Griff macht auf mich einen sehr sicheren und stabilen Eindruck und liegt bestens in der Hand.Ein sehr durchdachtes Produkt für das sehr vielseitige und individuell anpassbare System von Smallrig.Für mich auch nützlich, um z.B. mal eine LED-Leuchte besser halten zu können etc.

Sur un sony a7IV avec cage smallrig je peux pas avoir un moniteur video branché sur le port HDMI du Sony et avoir la poignée en même temps. Le cache du port HDMI de l'APN bloque l'insertion de la poignée sur le rail NATO quand le cache est ouvert en premier. Et inversement c'est la poignée qui bloque l'ouverture du cache si c'est elle qui est insérée en premier...

This quick lock full size rotating grip is perfect for my needs.I have fairly large hands and the grip is large so i like it,it gets the job done.The quick lock on the rotating mecanism is excellent,period.The one on the nato side is a litte bit less secure then the grip with the lever but much quicker and once in place it doesn't move and you forget about it.I don't care for the faint noise it might produce because i use external mikes anyway.I recommend this rotating grip for someone who want a quick release nato attachement.If you always have your grip in place,you can get the 4359 Smallrig grip which is similar in size but has a lever to secure the grip to the nato rail instead of the quick lock and it's cheaper.
