Bought it as a gift (I have one identical, but from a different brand). While the finish might not be as neat as with the big name brands, it makes up for it in functionality.Many cold smoke generators have a spiral or labyrinth design with the channels touching eachother. In those designs 1 little mistake in filling can cause an incorrect pattern in burning. Not with this one. With the separated channels, you're guaranteed it burns the correct way. Giving you a long lasting and steady smoke production. The long sections last almost 2 hours, the short sections just under a hour (depending on fuel used and rate of compression of course). The whole thing can probably last around 10 hours, but I haven't tried that yet. Or light it from both ends for twice the smoke at half the time.The little trays to put a candle for lighting the fuel are a nice touch, but remove the candles once the fuel is lit and before you add your food.

Der Sparbrand funktioniert einwandfrei.Ich musste leider an einer Seite den Bügel abtrennen, da ich das Mas leider nicht beachtet hatte.Bisher wurde er ca 15 mal angewendet und funktioniert problemlos.
