The vast majority of my hand tools are Fat Max, because they are hard-wearing, robust tools. I was a little concerned when I read the reviews for these pliers and comments regarding them breaking. However, there were plenty of positive comments so I took the plunge and paid the extra money for better tools.Firstly, these are MICRO-PLIERS! They are not a slightly cheaper set of normal Fat Max pliers. I use them for electronics but they would be suitable for any detail work, such as jewellery making, too. They are much smaller than normal pliers for this reason.They seem robust but I have not tested them to their limits. These are early days but I am happy with my purchase and I would recommend them for their intended purpose.
