The rice tastes much better than when made in a rice cooker! However, you’ll need to learn how to cook rice using this pot by watching tutorials on YouTube. It’s not difficult, though.

Had to send it back because there was a chip on the lid, which could proceed to rust. I know some of this model has chips and dents, and Staub says they are not defective (because every cast iron is different), I have been using cast irons for years and know what a chip does when it occurs on the surfaces, so thought it'd be best to send it back. I recommend thorough aesthetic checks upon receiving the product!
