Stelton Theo 1,25 l theepot, steen, zwart 21,5 x 17,5 x 17 cm

I ordered the 'Theo' Stelton teapot before reading positive and negative reviews (Duh - backward for sure!), so I was skeptical when the teapot arrived. But designer Francis Cayouette/Stelton's 'Theo' did not disappoint–it's austere black matte finish, and elegant minimalist presentation was just what I'd hoped. I covet beautiful objects and don't mind giving them extra care to keep them beautiful. While waiting for my everyday whistling teakettle to heat water on the stove, I pre-warm the Theo teapot with hot tap water. When my teakettle water reaches temperature, I empty the Theo and pour the stove-heated water into the teapot. The Theo's matte texture picks up lint/threads of my white towels, so I found blotting water spots with a black cotton towel instead of wiping across the surface makes the spots immediately disappear. I also love the silicone tip that allows a sharp, efficient flow of water without any dribbling. I've used this teapot every day for the past couple of weeks for my morning matcha, and so far, I am delighted with its beauty and function.

Excellent product and service

I got this as a gift for my husband and have been very happy with it. It's large and heavy, which is what I was hoping for -- feels very high quality and it has a lot of capacity. The materials are nice and the color is handsome. You need to watch how you fill it (overfilling it will result in water/tea/whatever you're using spilling out of the spout before you see how full it really is from the top opening), but it's got a great pour and a nice handle. We're very happy with it!

Die Teekanne Theo von Stelton hat nicht nur ein tolles Aussehen, sie hat auch ein unglaubliches Fassungsvermögen und man kann dank ihrers Silikonaufsatzes an der Tülle tropffrei eingießen – Wahnsinn! Der Deckel hat auf seiner Unterseite ebenfalls ein Silikonschutz und hält dadurch recht gut und rutscht nicht.Die Kanne ist inzwischen zu meiner Lieblingsteekanne geworden.ABER leider hat sie auch zwei Makel, die mich zwar nicht stören, aber der Marke und dem Preis Leistungsverhältnis meines Erachtens nicht ganz gerecht werden:1. Die wunderschön, schwarz - matte Oberfläche ist sehr empfindlich und lässt sich definitiv nicht mit einem Geschirrtuch abtrocknen oder mit einem gewöhnlichen Lappen reinigen. - Es bleiben sofort durch die rauhe Oberfläche kleine Fusseln des Lappens/Handtuchs an der Kanne hängen. Lediglich trockentupfen geht - oder man lässt es besser ganz. Zu reinigen ist sie nur unter fließendem Wasser mittels Bürste, das sollte man wissen.2. Die Kanne wird OHNE eigenem Teesieb mitgeliefert, was meines Erachtens bei dem Preis nicht nachvollziehbar ist.Wenn man aber damit leben kann, hat man ein traumhaft schönes Stück, bei dem jedes Einschenken regelrecht Spaß macht. Ich liebe diese Kanne und möchte sie nicht mehr in meinem Haushalt missen :-)
