I used to have my advanced students download music from imslp or buy singles new because I didn't know why one would play original classical repertoire from a method book. I've since changed my opinion on that since realizing how much time all the very well done editing saves us in lesson time. I'm guessing the Suzuki books have panels of player/teachers deciding on fingerlings and bowing a because nearly every edit is appreciated.

Good piano accompaniment to the violin book. I have the piano books for books 1 through 6. I have not found any errors or typos in each piano book. I'm not very good at the piano, but it allows me to follow along while my child is reading the violin book, and sometimes I can help with playing the bass line or certain right hand piano parts.
