Very well made Chechire eyepiece. Nicely made storage box too. There is a little play remaining when this is inserted into my 1.25" focuser - but exactly the same amount of play as any of my eyepieces have too.I started by ensuring the secondary mirror appeared as circular as I could - and then as centered as I could manage under the Cheshire crosshairs. Hopefully, this is already correct on a new scope.Next adjust the tilt of the secondary mirror to move the target circle on the primary mirror exactly under the crosshairs. (No need to worry about seeing mirror clips like you would with a simple collimating cap as this is actually doing the same thing but much more accurately.)Finally adjust the tilt of the primary mirror to move the reflection of the Cheshire eyepiece target exactly concentric with the Primary mirror target.I found some elements a little hard to judge by eye, so I actually took a photo of the view and checked the alignment of everything on the computer as it was easier to confirm everything was where it should be. It looks as close as I can manage for now anyway!Finally, looking through my regular collimating cap confrimed things were much more accurately aligned than I could ever have managed with that cap alone. A zoomed in view shows the cap peep hole absolutely centered in the bullseye - all thanks to this Cheshire eyepiece.Very happy overall and with a fast f5 scope I need things to be as collimated as accurate as I can.

Collimatore ben realizzato, con tappo a protezione del reticolo, il tutto in scatola robusta con preforma in schiuma.Ho collimato un nuovo riflettore in pochi minuti.Il prezzo non è proprio basso ma alla fine lo si compra una volta sola senza rischiare di trovarsi con uno strumento inutilizzabile.

Aunque seas Amateur y que tengas un telescopio “BARATO” viene genial para ajustar el espejo.En YouTube vienen vídeos que te explican como utilizarlo.Muy buen producto.

Pour avoir une meilleur image et contraste+ Prix réduit (33€)Les moins:- aucunMODE D'EMPLOI (à faire en journée):- Placer le Cheshire dans le porte oculaire (image4)- enlever le cache à l'avant du télescope- on s'aperçoit que le miroir SECONDAIRE n'est pas centré (image 3)- avec le tube à l'horizontal, bien placé le miroir secondaire au centre en vissant/desserant les 3 vis. Maintenant, on s'aperçoit que le miroir PRINCIPAL n'est pas centré. (Image 2)- enlever le cache à l'arrière du télescope- serrer et desserrer les 3 vis afin de le centré (image 1).- vérifier la collimation sur une étoileBonnes observations à vous.
