Doet precies wat ik had verwacht en reageert snel op bewegingen.

De bewegingssensor werkt snel en is makkelijk te installeren. Uitleg en instructies voor plaatsen is ook uitgebreid. Ik gebruik de sensor om een lamp in en uit te schakelen. Firmware updates kunnen uitgerold worden. De bewegingssensor is weer een mooie toevoeging in de Switchbot producten.

I have two Switchbot products, a light bulb and this motion sensor. Before I bought this sensor I checked if it was compatible with Homey Pro 2023. It indicated yes. In practise it is no.I am able to add the motion sensor to Homey but flows do not work , simply do not react.Another aspect that is not favorable, when integrating with Homey you still need the Switchbot app to add the devices there first. After that, one can add the same device in Homey (just an api call). So in between is the unofficially supported eg community Switchbot api which, so I experienced, does not work for this sensor. It does work for the bulb.Homey developer tools show api traffic, but again flows are not reacting / working. 29 euro's down the drain.Update: no reaction from Switchbot, so advice is to skipp this companies products completely. Save the planet, don't buy crap.

Never ever buy this brand. Doesn’t detect motion sometimes and took forever to trigger an action with another switchbot product. It’s also big. I prefer motion sensors to be small and discreet

share my SwitchBot experienceI use my SwitchBot motion sensor in my sons room. Every morning whether it be going to school or at the weekend when he is in bed reading before he gets up he will have his reading light on at the very least and sometimes his down lights in the ceiling., he never turns these off even though he has smart buttons on his bed and a smart switch on the wall at his bedroom door. I have set a routine in Home assistant for every day between 7.30am & 8.30am for: if the lights in his room are on and there has been no motion for 10 minutes turn off the lights. Works a treat.

Easy to set up. I haven’t used it for long but it works every time.
