NO fuss, plug and play!I bought this and the 7.1 Channel USB External Sound Card Audio Adapter. I would recommend to go with the 7.1 instead of this one because it has a volume button for your to manually lower and increase the volume if you laptop's volume button is malfunctioning. Also the best feature is the immediate mute option for both mic and headphone.
