I use it for my Kindle and combined with a remote page turner this is heaven.Great quality, doesn't tip over due to the big bottom plate and thanks to the construction you can easily turn your device in any direction you want to.I did not expect it to be this good for this low price.

Put a weight (10kg kettlebell or something) on the foot so you can fully extend the arm. I know it's just physics, but both adults and kids have made this mistake...

J'ai acheté ce pied pour pouvoir regarder un film sur ma tablette ou pour faire des vision très aisément et au final, je me suis retrouvé à l'utiliser pour faire de vidéos face cam avec mon téléphone, à n'importe quel endroit.Je trouve ce système bien plus intéressant qu'un trépied photo normal, surtout pour un téléphone. La base du pied est bien moins large qu'un trépied photo standard, donc on peut placer le pied où l'on veut sans que cela gêne de trop mais aussi, le fait qu'il n'y a qu'une seule tige au milieu du pied évite qu'on se le prenne quand on passe à côté, contrairement à un trépied photo où l'on tape dans le pied dès que l'on passe un peu près.Bien sûr, ce pied ne vous permettra pas de supporter une gros appareil photo. Un smartphone oui mais un reflex, je ne pense pas. Ceci dit, un petit apn devrait ne pas trop faire basculer le pied. Mais il vous faudra un support différent pour le fixer au pied.Si vous avez un espace restreint mais que vous voulez faire des vidéos ou regarder des films sur une tablette, ce trépied sera parfait !

One of the best purchases. This stand was easy to assemble and pretty sturdy. It is important that the metal foot plate points towards the same direction the phone or tablet are pointing for balance. I’ve not had any trouble clipping my phone or kindle on it. Great for reading and watching things on the phone or kindle. It is flexibility but it requires a bit of pressure to move the arm which is fine. Because it is so tight, it does not droop down under the weight of the kindle. Definitely a great value for the price.

Excellent quality, strong metal not cheap. Sturdy, easy to put together. Bought for kindle 8"
