Like all of the other Tamiya kits that I've built, this was a fun, easy build. The instructions are clear and easy to follow. The detail is nice, with recessed panel lines, optional positions for the wing and cowl flaps, and great cockpit detail. What really impressed me was the different choices of markings. Ever since I was stationed at the former IJN Airbase at Iwakuni Japan, I've looked for a kit with a scheme worn by Zeros that once flew from there, and among the several different schemes to choose from is the 332 Naval Air Group, which was formed and based at Iwakuni. (There are also decals for a Zero flown by WO Tanimizu, one of the top scoring Aces of the IJNAF.) Figures for 6 ground crew (4 mechanics and 2 petty officers) are included in addition to the detailed pilot figure. All of that for around $20, which makes this a great deal as well as a great kit. I highly recommend it.

Modellino abbastanza preciso e ben fatto, i dettagli non sono eccezionali ma per il prezzo è ottimo. Le decals sono un po' povere ma appunto si deve tenere in considerazione quanto speso. Ci sono anche 6 omini più il pilota, un discreto valore aggiunto per chi li usa. Lo Zero non è un caccia "appariscente" ma un classico da avere con gli altri.
