I was looking for a device that would settle nicely between my Boox page e-reader and my Mac and that would not destroy my eyes.E-Ink vs NXTPAPERLet's be clear. This screen is not as comfortable to read on as E-Ink. And that's ok. I would say it's about 70% there. That being said it's quite impressive what they managed to pull off here. The Screen is very sharp and easy on the eyes. It doesn't "glow" as much as normal LCD or OLED Tablets which will give me a headache after a few hours. Just don't expect to read it on it in bed in complete darkness. For that purpose E-Ink is still better.The case and the penThe case is fine I would said. It doesn't feel super sturdy but gets the job done. I am a little sad that the didn't offer a keyboard case to go with the tablet because that would improve my workflow significantly. The pen on the other hand makes me very sad. I feels cheap and I wouldn't use it for drawing. Also the input lag is definitely to much for any serious writing or drawing.SpeakersSpeaking of volume and clarity they are actually alright for the price. What is not good is that the produce a noise every time they get switched on. It about 1-2 seconds of a very silent squeaking noise when you put your ears close to them. It's not a deal-breaker but as I do a lot of language learning in my spare time I now have to have music running in the background in order to not hear it.PriceThe price is fantastic for what's on offer here. But don't get it wrong. You are buying this tablet for the screen. That is what's sublime here. Everything else is more ok than fantastic.ConclusionIf you're tired of having E-Ink devices that are too slow or don't have colour, get this tablet. The screen does exactly what I needed and it doesn't hurt my eyes. That being said, if you're use-case is not reading, productivity or notes, you should probably reconsider. For gaming or drawing the speakers and the pencil are just not good enough.

Ottimo tablet, se leggete molto ed avete bisogno di uno schermo opaco simile ad un E-Ink ma non volete rinunciare all'ecosistema android è la scelta ideale. Supporta modalità carta bianco e nero e a colori, oppure la modalità normale con colori vividi per l'utilizzo normale delle app. La superficie è leggermente ruvida ma non paper-like, la penna inclusa è basica, ovviamente non è paragonabile ad una tavoletta grafica di fascia alta, ma fa il suo lavoro se avete necessità di prendere appunti. La qualità dello schermo del Nxtpaper 11 plus, vale tutto il prezzo.

An affordable tablet, which has very good display quality for watching video, though not the highest quality like OLED, but surely more than enough for my needs, while it excellent in the display quality for color and grayscale documents/books/web surfing reading.The display has no reflections at all, very easy on the eyes and great 2K resolution.The "megic" button to quickly select between the display modes is very easy to use, and the overall tablet performance is better than just right, if not intended for heavy gaming.

atrocious pen input. I have not seen a pen (active nor passive) this bad in the last 10 years... on any device.A lot of "ghost" inputs, basically it start to register even though one is not yet actually touching the screen.But even when it registers inputs correctly, all lines are completely jagged/wobbly.I compare it mostly to my samsung galaxy s6 lite, from 2020 at the same price point, which is now 3 generations old... and besides speed, superior in every single way. The pen is actually usable. Even the speakers are better on the cheap, old samsung. TCL even advertises the speakers on this piece of garbage, yet they are tinny like on an old 2010 cheap laptop... I will try and return this electronic waste.
