This is a brilliant pallet of colors developed in cooperation with a great artist! At this point there are two sets, and unless you have specific needs, I strongly recommend purchasing both. I have been painting miniatures for decades, but I would never have thought to put this specific collection of colors together. If you admire John Blanche, these selections will help you chose colors like the master! Very highly recommended as a way of challenging your selection ideas!

Whether you're building up shadows, adding gritty details, or layering for that classic Blanchitsu style, this set delivers everything you need to bring that vision to life.The Speedpaint and washes are excellent quality (as expected from Army Painter), and the metallic included is beautifully muted – ideal for grimy weapons and ancient armour. Ich habe mir das Set (samt dem Zweiten) gekauft, um einen soliden Grundstock zu haben wenn ich mit Warhammer 40k anfange. Ich habe die Farben inzwischen an Testminiaturen ausprobiert und bin wirklich überzeugt davon.Die Farben decken, selbst wenn sie massiv verdünnt werden, sehr gut und lassen sich leicht und kontrolliert auftragen, ohne viel Textur auf die Miniaturen zu bringen die man nicht haben möchte. Die Farben sind - vor allem bei beiden Sets kombiniert - hervorragend aufeinander abgestimmt und lassen sich gut mischen. Für viele Armeen dürfte man damit gut hinkommen, wenn man sich etwas mit Farbtheorie auseinander setzt.Fazit: Jederzeit wieder, ich bin mit den Farben SEHR glücklich.

These up to date paint formulations provide a fine flow and useful hues and tints that I'm using on a witch-hunting miniature. Just what I needed!
