The joy of christmas piano, voix, guitare

Just love this book, the Carols are wonderful and in lovely keys as well. Great for the beginner, novice, or intermediate pianist.

Don't judge, but I've used this collection since the 1970s. My old book literally fell apart a year ago, and I was amazed it's still in print. Actually bought two, so my daughter can have her own. Simple but well written carols for community singing with a piano and/or guitar.

In general, great! For intermediate to stronger players. The only downside is that certain carols use tunes I am unfamiliar with as a Brit. Oh Little Town of Bethlehem, While Shepherds Watched, and Away in a Manger all use more typically US versions of the tunes. A real shock for me as I was't even aware there were alternatives! Many carols I didn't know as well.
