It was time to replace the thermal interface materials on my RTX 4080 and who better to use than Thermal Grizzly. I had to order various sizes to accommodate the different components. They come in strips and sheets. The strips are very convenient for components such as the VRAM where you only have to cut them to length.Once all was said and done, I saw anywhere between a 10C-18C drop in thermals across the various components. Do keep in mind that the previous TIM was old and worn out so your mileage may vary. The pads were replaced about 2.5 months ago and temps are still holding steady as when they were first installed. Not having touched my fan curves on the GPU means the temps are now on the lower RPM range so my rig isn't screaming (as loud) at me when gaming.While these are on the pricier side compared to other pads on the market, they do perform exceptionally well. Used these pads on some ram chips that were getting extremely hot. These pads transfer the heat off the chips very well, noticeable difference.

Another solid product from the likes of youtuber der8auer's Thermal Grizzly company. Picked these thermal pads up along with several other sizes and shapes as soon as they hit the amazon marketplace and so far I haven't been disappointed. The perfect shape/size for SSD, GPU VRM & GPU memory chip coverage. A bit more expensive than other thermal pad selections, but the thermal transfer effectiveness is impressive enough to account for the added cost in price. Sizing to your preference is easy enough with the use of an exacto knife. Ran the products verification code through the validity checker on thermal grizzly's website, and its shows as authentic.

At 2mm, these are on the chunkier side of the spectrum, but they have their place in applications where you might have one large heatsink covering multiple things that just aren’t quite all level with each other.
