It came on time and was just what my daughter needed. She is in college for music and these strings were perfect for her in a good price range.

This set of violinstrings is the perfect one for me, and for my violin! Mainly for these two reasons:1.) They are so much more affordable than so many other sets out there (Evah Pirazzi, I'm lookin' at you . . .) But with a price such as what it has, it is no letdown for tone, which leads into the next reason . . .2.) I have a really tight, high-wound violin, and most other strings don't have the right sound quality. But Thomastik Vision has such a warmer tone, perfect for my type of violin, balancing out the somewhat annoying pitch to a relative normalcy.I definately reccomend these strings, even if you do not have a normal violin, unlike mine.

I have had these on two different violins, an Eastman 305 ($800) and another Chinese violin worth about $2000. The Eastman had had Dominants, and these were a real improvement. I had them on the more expensive instrument and then replaced them with Corelli Alliance. The Visions were so much better, I'm going back to them for my next set.

I love the Vision strings. They have the complexity of synthetic while retaining the quickness of steel strings. The Stark Vision are not much more tension than the medium Vision strings, but they are louder and darker. Works great for certain violins.
