I almost always have bananas on hand, either for banana bread or smoothies. This is convenient way to store them, and they seem to ripen better and more evenly than just having them resting on the counter. Obviously they can be used for other things since they're basically just hooks. I use a second one in a less obtrusive place to hang a sack of potatoes.

Didnt hold up

This banana hanger is so handy and its a 2-pack !!I had a separate free standing banana holder but I always had to get it out, put it together and it sat on the counter in the way. This one is terrific - it attaches to the bottom of the cabinet and unfolds. Then when you don't need it it folds up out of the way and gets held up by a magnet. Its well made and sturdy metal and painted black. It appears to be a quality product. I used the 2nd hook to install at my sister's house. She is very particular about her bananas and does not like them laying down on their sides. So she is now very happy. It also comes with a piece of double sided tape so the hook stays in place while you are screwing in the screws. I did deduct 1 star because the screws that are included are about an inch in length and began to come thru the bottom of the cabinet. I had to run to the hardware store and buy some shorter screws. It would be nice if they included a shorter set of screws as well. Otherwise a great product and a good value. I highly recommend for reducing the counter clutter.

I really like the design, and even the idea that it uses both double sided tape and screws to make sure they stay put. The magnet design to keep the hooks out of the way when not needed are also a plus. The only negative we had was they are too long. I wanted to be able to hang my bananas over a fruit basket and on a standard size counter, they hang down too low. If the hook was a little shorter, they would be perfect.
