Das mühselige Pumpen mit der Hand hat nun ein Ende. Zumal bei meinem E-Bike zwei Ventile verbaut sind, wo man erstmal einen starken Widerstand überwinden muß, bevor man aufpumpen kann. Und dann wird es immer schwerer, je härter die Reifen werden.Ganz anders mit dieser Pumpe, man setzt den Schlauch einfach auf das Ventil, verriegelt mit dem gelben Hebel und dann kann man ganz leicht aufpumpen, indem man sich einfach mit seinem Gewicht über die Pumpe legt und sie damit nach unten drückt. Im Nu hatte ich je 4,5 Bar auf beiden Reifen für mein E-Bike. Soviel habe ich per Hand noch nie geschafft. Nur, wenn der Meister mal die Reifen mit dem Kompressor aufgepumpt hat, waren sie so hart. Ich bin mehr als zufrieden, denn früher war ich nach dem Aufpumpen mit einer zwar modernen Luftpumpe schweißgebadet vor Anstrengung und mit dieser Standpumpe strengt es gar nicht mehr an, es macht richtig Spaß, zumal man ja sehen kann, auf wieveil Bar die Anzeigenadel klettert. Ich meine, es waren nur 4-5 Pumpstösse pro Reifen, da hätte ich mit der konventionellen Luftpumpe eine gefühlte halbe Stunde gebraucht, hier nur ein paar Sekunden. Das ist das Schöne, daß man bei Amazon alles finden und Preise vergleichen kann. Ich suchte eine Hilfe fürs Aufpumpen und fand genau das Richtige. Es wurde auch, wie von Amazon gewohnt, sehr schnell geliefert. Die Packung ist zwar groß, aber ganz leicht. Auch das Gerät ist leicht und man kann es im eingefahrenen Zustand durchaus überall hin mitnehmen, wenn man eine große Tasche hat. Allerdings ist der Reifendruck nach dem ersten Aufpumpen so groß, daß man wohl erst mal ein Jahr nicht mehr aufpumpen muß. Natürlich fährt das E-Bike jetzt auch viel leichter und schneller, das ist mit stramm aufgepumpten Reifen einfach so, die sparen Energie und das stramme Aufpumpen wird auch von allen Fachleuten empfohlen.

This is my third bicycle pump; in the past, I've used a frame pump (which I keep mostly for emergencies since it's difficult to do much else with it), the (I'll discuss this one later), and finally this floor pump. This is the best one by far. The foot pump, despite the well respected name, was difficult to use to inflate to higher pressures. The hose would leak at higher pressures, which made it difficult for me to inflate my tires--sometimes I would lose more air than I put in! Additionally, like I said, the frame pump is not typically used as a primary pump (especially for higher-pressure tires).This pump is different. It is a lot easier to pump than I thought (easier than the foot pump!), it inflates rapidly, and it had no problem reaching the 80 psi I was going for. (It claims to max out at 120, although my experience shows that manufacturers tend to be slightly misleading with these statements. Still, I didn't feel like I was anywhere near the max for this pump when I stopped at 80 like I did with my foot pump, which also claimed 120. However, if you are looking for something approaching 120, you'll probably want to go with a more expensive model than this; I see some rated for 160 and beyond.) Additionally, the gauge seems to be accurate based on my readings with another gauge.There are both Schrader and Presta heads (no adapter needed, which is also nice), as well as a small bag of accessories for other types of inflatables. Do keep in mind that the picture on Amazon as I write this is angled; the actual pump may be taller than you'd imagine based on that. It also has a sturdy base, which helps it stand on its own as you pump.After going through other pumps, I wish I would have bought this one first and saved myself the trouble of the others. It is by far my favorite to use of the three I've tried (it's almost fun to do my twice-weekly tire pressure check and inflation--well, compared to the pain of of the others), and I recommend it for someone looking for a good and affordably priced bike pump. It works great for my needs, and it's easy and fast to use.EDIT: Months after this review, I bought a road bike which I inflate to about 110-120 psi. I have absolutely no problems with this pump and was hardly even aware that I was approaching a supposed limit. For once, the manufacturer's claims are probably accurate, if not underestimated.
