Well made, not a flimsy or brittle plastic but sturdy. Clamping bars are aluminium. Bought to fit under a Brooks sprung saddle to carry a Topeak medium Wedge bag for tools / spares. Should be fine for this use, wouldn't expect it to carry much more weight. Be aware that you won't be able to use the seatpost strap on the Wedge bag, it is positioned too far back beneath the saddle when mounted.I did have a problem with fitting. The clamping bars did not close enough to fix the item at all securely to the saddle rails. Found some thick rubber strips (probably unused from a handlebar light mount) and wrapped those around the seat rails, then clamped onto them. It seems secure but will need to take the bike out now and see how well this works when carrying load.Five stars for the quality of the item. It was a bit fiddly to fit, but I would expect that given the variety of saddle designs available.

Exactly what I needed to extend the mount out and up off the seat post. Well made and now I can easily move my saddle bag from one bike to the other.

写真を見たときに黒い部分がプラスチックに見え、耐久性を心配してましたが実際届いた商品を見てみると金属製でした。鉄ではなく、おそらくアルミ製だと思います。モンベルのフロントバッグをサドルにつけたくて同社のとと一緒に購入し使用しております。バッグの中に弁当箱を入れて通勤に使用してますが走行中、左右に振られます。購入して半年ほど使用してますが、今のところ落下や破損の心配は無いと思います。

ボルトをキツく締め付けてもサドルが後ろに下がってしまうので、このアルミの金具だけ前方に取り付けてみました。結果的にサドルが後ろに下がる事は無くなったので満足しています。
