I wanted to buy a quality bit as I find I use this router bit alot. Had a cheap one for years and it was OK. Didn't notice how much difference there was between a cheaper bit and a better one until I bought this. It cuts quicker and can handle more chunk as it cuts. The smoothness of the cut is far greater too. Well worth the price
