Nello scegliere il prodotto giusto per i fori a tasca mi sono trovato ad osservare questo della Trend ed avendo acquistato altri buoni prodotti di questo marchio ho deciso di acquistarlo. E' abbastanza pratico ma forse per farne tanti è in serie vanno scelti altri prodotti magari più ingombranti e costosi.

I think pocket hole joinery definitely has its place in the woodworking world, but I found this small device quite tricky to use consistently and it took time to clamp it properly to each piece that I wanted to drill. I would have felt more secure clamping the jig to the work piece and then clamping that to the work surface or putting it in the vice to hold it securely for drilling. A bit fiddly otherwise.I will be buying a more expensive bench mounted device in the future to speed up workflow massively and upgrade consistency. Thankfully, the project I was working on was not fine furniture, and this little portable jig did the job, just not brilliantly. It wasn't fun to use at all, and even though the holes are all hidden, I know what they looked like and it wasn't pretty.That said, through bad planning, I changed my mind on how to fix a 1 inch plywood work top for a bench in my shed. Originally choosing to screw down into the wooden frame from above, I wanted keep the look clean and unspoilt. Thing is, there was no way, without dismantling a lot of heavy timber and breaking apart glued joints, that you would get this into a bench mounted device. So this doodad came into its own. I was able to drill pocket holes into the inside edge of the rails and cross braces.A useful but fiddly device therefore, that has a special trick up its sleeve of getting into places that other pocket hole jigs just wouldn't be able to. I think this would make a nice addition to a regular pocket hole jig for such occasions where the portability is necessary, but given my time again, I would spend the extra and get a different product.
