My 3 year old cat was immediately interested when I took it out of the box. That first night he played with it for hours. It's his favourite toy. I like that it's a toy he can play independently with, that doesn't require batteries/charging, and that can entertain him for hours. Good value!

Our 9 week old kitten kept herself occupied for an hour straight after unpacking this - and she is still interested. Sometimes she lazily pushes the bottom ball whilst laying down and sometimes she is very actively engaged, climbing on this toy. Either way, she is entertained and thats what we bought this for. Curious to see how it holds up as she gets bigger and heavier but for 8 euros you cannot really complain if it wouldn't. Also, good to note we did not receive the brightly coloured one as pictured, we received one with a teal/blue, purple and grey tier. More muted colous. But, TBH I prefer that it isn't so bright, so all in all verry happy!

I have 3 kittens around the 1 year mark. I bought them one of these probably around 9 months ago after buying a similar one from another brand (Vealind). They were enjoying playing with that so thought I'd get another one but from a different brand. This one from Trixie is far superior - the balls spin at a decent speed with very little friction so is much more fun for the cats when playing and also less hassle for me having to keep flicking the balls around so much.I would say out of the non battery operated toys they have this one is their favourite. The first plastic one (Vealind) I bought I thought was good at the time, but that was until I bought this one. Even the cats prefer this one and don't bother with the other one anymore because the balls don't roll half as well or as fast. The two boys especially like to play with this cat tower and will play with it together, but the bigger boy is prone to throwing his weight around with the smaller boy, and since I don't want any fallouts or for it to turn into something more than the odd slap/chase around the house I decided to get another two so that they have one each. I wanted to make sure there are enough resources for all of them and the fact I bought another two of these Trixie towers should say it all. The only negative point is that the balls do come off the tracks and go missing or underneath the sofa, some never to be found again! It easy enough to put them them back in when you do find them or to shove some other balls in instead though. I've found that adding the flashing and rattling Catit balls that come with the tracks fit perfectly and they love it when I add one of those to the track. The added weight, sound and/or flashing from the ball combined with the light plastic balls that come with this is a great combo if you have a couple of balls on each level and my kittues go crazy for it. You can buy them separately if you don't have the tracks for about £3-£4 a pair if I remember correctly.I'm only knocking one star off for the fact the balls pop out so easily. But this is hands down their favourite cat tower. The most recent two were £7.50 each and I'm sure the first was £10 or less. Anyway, they are well worth the money and the cats play with them an awful lot so well worth the money! Would recommend.
