This ink is wonderful. I'm not a stamping hobbyist or anything so I don't have a comparison to some kind of super fancy pants ink, but I spent like $10+ on this which is a lot for an ink pad and I am happy with it. It's not as shimmery as the gold and silver, but it still has some sparkle.

Brilliance Ink Pads offer a wonderful depth of colour. Light tapping is best when applying to stamps, as this ink pad is generously inked and made of foam, so if you are used to the more robust felt ink pads these might lead you to over ink and get poor results. The drying time can be a little longer than some inks, which makes them an excellent choice for use with embossing powders. You can smidge some on a craft mat and with a brush add a little water and paint highlights to some of your project. They are very versatile. The thing I love about the Brilliance Pearlescent Ink pads is the shimmer, they give any project a beautiful tonal quality. A great product which I would recommend.
