TYR Sport, opgericht in Huntington Beach, CA door badkledingontwerper Joseph Lorenzo (huidige eigenaar) en 1972 Olympisch bronzen medaillewinnaar Steve Furness, werd opgericht in 1985 om de concurrerende zwemmarkt te voorzien van levendige, prestatiegerichte prints. We have several swimmers in the house and they have been using other brands of paddles for the first couple of years. Those were bulky and not too comfortable to use. The TYR ones are very light but still sturdy enough to hold their shape for several years. We got these for replacing old ones that my son overgrew.
