Ubbi Doekdoos, grijs

I just received this today! I had high expectations as I have the ubbi nappy bin and LOVE it. Sadly the product had already been used, even though I ordered a 'new' one. The lid and side has scratches, the grippy feet on the bottom are dirty amd slightly worn, the inside was dirty and the weighted plate was also dirty. The inside top piece where the rubber lining was also scratched.The product itself seems great and I would exchange this product for a new one but I am very disappointed to have received a used box.

Works as advertised. Helps keep wipes moisturized. It comes with a weight so you can put the wipes directly in this container and the weight is supposed to help separate one wipe at a time but I don’t use the weight. I just put a pack of honest wipes in the packaging into the container and that works for us

Does it work? Yes! Was a bit sceptical about spending £17 on a plastic box for wet wipes but trusted the reviews and bought two. Absolutely worth it - you can feel the quality straight away and it actually works!Works perfectly, not only for the old-style plastic based wipes but also for for both the biodegradeable/plastic free but non-flushable wipes I use for make-up and, astonishingly, for the more paper-like truly flushable wipes I use for the toilet which are usually far worse for 10 coming out at once. For the toilet wipes, the next wipe doesn't conveniently lift up for the next use as you take the one above it out like the make up ones do so you have to scrabble a bit with a fingernail to pick it up but that's inherent to that type of wipe and not a failing of this product.Really High quality thick, rigid, dense and durable plastic - the type that feels almost like earthenware, melamine or bakelite. Weighty enough that you can pull out a wipe with one hand without having to hold any part of the dispenser steady. Had it for a year or so in constant daily use in the bathroom and bedroom - no sign of any cracks, distortion or wear - still looks brand new. I'm always worried about buying anything with plastic hinges but, again, no sign of them failing in any way so far and they feel very durable and sturdy.Really easy to clean, inside rarely needs cleaning and has rounded corners so is easy to wipe, outside is smooth with rounded edges and easy to wipe.The whole thing looks very stylish and the soft grey colour fits in with any colour scheme. Have been recommending these to everyone I know.

Tolles Teil. Kannte das mal von früher und hab lange danach gesucht, da Namen vergessen. Hält alles schön feucht und die Beschwerungsplatine hält alles an Ort und Stelle. Sieht dazu noch sehr wertig aus! Tolles Teil!

Wife thought I was a bit crazy for buying this, at this price too, given there are plenty of cheap reusable containers. I said... Trust me, it will be worth it. A few 2am squirmy baby nappy changes later.... It all made sense and she wants another for the other changing table. Not to mention it looks much nicer and keeps the tissues wetter than the standard packaging. Is it absolutely necessary, like a clean nappy is for a baby.... Probably not. Does it make life easier when changing thousands of nappies, Yes! That makes it worth every penny.Build quality is robust, and it single feeds tissues virtually every time. The weighted plate really works its magic. The lid is smooth and doesn't slam shut... A nice touch with a semi sleeping baby. The lid has a bit of weight to it to work with the rubber seal and keep moisture in. I personally would still prefer a spring button and latch for the added peace of mind it is sealing well, especially on a warm summer day, sitting by the window. That's about the only critical thing I can say.It would be nice to have a mounting solution... So you can mount it to the side of a change table, or changing dresser. Maybe a tool less shelf, or simple screw key holes, that you can hook it on to the screw heads with?All in all... Very pleased with the product and purchase!
