It was difficult for me to buy a non-wood cutting board at this price point, bit after reading up on the Wusthof knives I had just treated myself to, I took the leap. I have now thrown out all my other cutting boards and mats! When the description said that it wouldn't show cuts or scratches, I was leery, but then impressed. It even has a notch around the inside to keep any liquid from going on the countertop. Not rigid, but not flimsy, and does not slip or slide off the counter either. Both sides are usable. And the color (red) is perfect... not bright nor towards the orange spectrum. Easy to clean, and dries quickly (when standing on edge). I am so glad I bought this!

The Wustof TPU chopping board is like any other TPU board with no apparent distinguishing feature to set it apart from the competition. Its much higher price which is nearly double does not appear to be justified.

This is my first cutting board that is not getting knife marks. I have also two of them in black and all of them are easy to clean by hand and in the dishwasher and do not scratch. Maybe over time they will also show signs of wear, but I am using them now intensively for a few weeks and no sign of cutting marks yet. I am very impressed. They outperform all other cutting boards I own with a range of brands from generic No-Name to Ikea to Kitchen Aid. These are by far the best ones. I think they are very much worth the money.They have a small groove to catch liquids. But as the cutting boards are not very thick overall, the groove is not deep and cannot catch much. But for a first line of defense against a mess they are still useful.They do not slip too much on a stone surface.There is also a larger version, which I really would like to have, but nobody seems to sell them in Sweden and Wüsthof and others currently also do not deliver to Sweden. Strange and unfortunate. I hope this is changing. I will look again to see if they are available eventually.
