I've constructed hundreds of models for other people's model railway layouts in my 68 years and many have been from Walthers.Each and every one of them from Walthers have always fitted together without any problems and this one is no exception.The skill needed for models such as this I think would be suited to those who have a medium to advanced level.Excellent model at an excellent price along with excellent service. This is easily one of my favorite items that I have bought for my husband’s train table. Walthers Merchant Row IV is, easy to assemble, very customizable (paintable), true to scale and very detail oriented. Walthers is our favorite brand for H.O. model train buildings and accessories. I highly recommend this!

Was a great addition to the railway layout.

Even with smaller female hands, this was a pain in the butt to get together, especially with finger tips glueing to each other or the little plastic window panes. The signs broke when I tried to get them free of the framed casing. I managed to get one on but it broke during boxing to wrap it up for Christmas.Fun to paint to add detail. Glad I got it, but I like the ease of other model brands.
