Geliefert wird ein ESP32-C6-WROOM-1-N16 mit vorverlöteten Pin Headern. Das Board stellt WLAN und BLE 5 zur Verfügung und eine RGB LED direkt neben dem USB-C Anschluss. Die Inbetriebnahme ist problemlos, das Development Board funktioniert in der Arduino IDE nach Auswahl des “ESP32C6 Dev Board” out of the box. Der Preis ist hier leider ziemlich hoch, dafür bekommt man regulär fast zwei dieser Boards.

Der ESP wurde direkt in das Smart Home integriert. Funktioniert in der Arduino IDE als "ESP32C6 Dev Board", lässt sich problemlos flashen und verwenden. Lese damit BME280 Sensoren aus und schicke die Daten per WLAN/MQTT weiter.Das Board reagiert sehr schnell bei Web-Requests, bislang immer zuverlässig und ohne Verbindungsabbrüche.Lötstellen sehen sauber aus. Alle Pins waren gerade.
