Bislang hatte ich jahrelang den Vorgänger, die normale No. 5 im Einsatz, die sich gut bewährt hat, da ich aber immer öfters größere Querschnitte 10 -16mm² verarbeiten muss, habe ich zur No. 5 Pro gewechselt, endlich !, muss ich sagen, die Zange hält was sie verspricht.Besonders gefällt mir die kompakte Größe, sie liegt gut in der Hand, mit dem Soft Grip noch angenehmer als bei der normalen Version, und sehr nützlich ist die Verriegelung im betätigtem Zustand, somit läßt sich die Zange auch gut im Werkzeugkoffer verstauen.Auffällig ist die sehr leichtegängige Betätigung, und besonders der große Abisolierbereich, angegeben von 0,2mm² bis 16mm², tatsächlich bekomme ich sogar 0,14mm² Litze damit abisoliert, und 10mm² völlig problemlos, sauber und leicht, mehrdrätig und feindrähtig. (16mm² habe ich bislang noch nicht probiert)Da ich wirklich von 0,14mm² bis 16mm² Adern verarbeiten muss war das ein Argument für den Kauf, aber besonders angenehm bin ich davon überascht dass sich damit auch Steuerleitungen mit typischen 4-5mm Durchmesser sauber abmanteln lassen, um einiges einfacher als etwa mit dem Jokari Koax Abmantler !Fazit: die Zange überzeugt mit Qualität, Funktion, und Preis-Leistung.

The product exceeded expectations as it was very handy and comfortable to use with maximum efficiency. I would gladly vouch for the suitability of this tool to anyone who is in need of a wire stripper.

I tested this for 10mm internal diameter (copper) and 4mm combined insulation which is total of 14mm and the blade broke instantly. I thought it may have been a bad lock so looked up blades in Australia and they’re $90 to replace. What a ripoff. German technology at its worst. This Weicom No.5 Pro claims up to 16mm cable size but it failed at 14mm overall size. It maybe a good tool for electronics or small cables but not a good tool for electrical lines work specially in Australia. I’m returning this.

Best stripper I've used, grabs better than weidmuller ones and the klien automatic ones, and is able to handle very short strip lengths as well. The pistol shape is way more ergonomic for me than the weidmuller style ones, very pleased with it so far. Mainly use it on sis #14-#10, but it did manage to strip some RW90 #6 (although I wouldn't do that normally, definitely felt like it was at its limit, might handle finer strand wire at that size better)
