This dog door bell works perfectly but initially our pup saw it as just a way to get treats. You need to phase out the treats quickly and just say "Good Boy/Girl", followed by always opening the door so they can make the connection with going out.Only thing we would have liked was a white version to match uPVC doors.Happy customer and happy puppy.

Great little device. Didn't need any set up, worked straight out of the box. My 6 months pup learned to use it within 15 minutes. But I have a question. Why 55 different melodies? Who needs that many options for a doggy doorbell !? It was torturous cycling through them all to get back to the simple ding dong is the least offensive to the ear.

I bought this to replace a door hanging bell I had since my dog was a puppy. She is 5 now.She always used it but lately I couldn't hear it as I am slowly going deaf.So she just used to sit by the back door for ages for me to notice her.She doesn't bark to be let out, she just waits patiently.Now I have this one and it took her couple of days to get the hang of it.Loud enough to hear in every room I have.Love it and can def recommend it. Dog loves it as well as she gets a treat everytime she pushes the bell. lol.
