I had a car with wheel nuts on the hubs years ago, and it was pretty easy to change a tyre because you could use both hands to life the tyre onto the studs sticking out of the hub and the wheel would just hang there and allow you to pop the wheel nuts on with easy.Now I have a car with wheel bolts, which are all well and good, but when you change a tyre, you have to lift the wheel up to the hub, keep it in place on the hub while you rotate the tyre to line-up the holes on the hub with the holes on the wheel, and then screw the wheel bolt through the wheel into the hub. It's awkward at the best of times, but the prospect of doing it at night on the side of a road in the rain, and it would be quite an unpleasant experience.So when by chance I heard of these wheel hanger pins, I thought they'd be a great idea for my car. VAG actually sell them as a part, but theirs are plastic which is good for protecting you wheels, but I've read they can break and I figured I'd go for metal ones instead. It's important to know what your wheel bolt size is before purchase, or you'll get pins that either don't fit, or damage your wheel bolt threads in your hub. These are M14x1.5 which are common on VAG vehicles, but do check your particular application.When I received these pins, I was pleasantly surprised at how nicely they were finished. They're quite a bit cheaper than many on Amazon, so I took a bit of a risk on these, but they're pretty nicely made as you can see from the pics I've uploaded. Being cautious, I checked the pin thread against a wheel bolt thread and as you can see in the pic, they're a good match.They screw into my hub as easily as a bolt, and as you can see in the pic, they stick out enough to make locating your wheel onto them very easy. I bought a set of two as they will locate the wheel accurately and wont allow the wheel to swing on one pin and misalign the holes bolt holes between wheel and hub.I've stored mine in my car boot, and I notice there is a slot in the polystyrene that accommodates them nicely, which makes me wonder whether some of the more prestigious VAG brands get the VAG wheel pins included with their spare wheel kits. (I put mine in bubble-wrap in a bag so they don't clink in the boot. I should probably bung a silica bag in there too.)Anyway, this is a great product and they should help make sure I won't be stuck on the side of the road on a dark night in the rain, struggling to line up my wheel on my hub so I can put the wheel bolts in. Highly recommended!

Die Stifte machen einen guten Qualitätseindruck, sollten aber etwas länger sein, da sie (abhängig von der Felgenform) nur mit den Fingerspitzen ein- bzw. ausgeschraubt werden können.
