As a first-time sausage maker, I found these simple to use. I soaked them in warm water for about half an hour before making the sausages, and they were pliable and yet tough enough not to rupture when filled. The resulting sausages are tasty - gave 4 stars for flavour, because I'm not certain these casings have any - not a bad thing when you want to taste the sausages themselves. Would recommend.
