Have not used it diving yet, but on land the light intensity and spread looks excellent. The switch is a bit so-so as its protruding easy to accidentally activate. Best to put in batteries just before your dive.

Ik was er erg benieuwd hoe 16000 lumen er uit ziet.Licht op hoogste stand is inderdaad WOW maar het geluk duurt maar een paar minuten. Na 5-10 minuten schakelt de lamp automatisch na een lagere stand, en dan is het licht vergelijkbaar met een gewone duiklamp van ca 2300 lumen. Je kan dan wel iedere 5-10 minuten weer de knop drukken om in de hoogste stand te komen; als je dat 30 minuten lang volhoudt, neemt de algehele lichtintensiteit af (batterij al leeg?), en krijg je zelf op hoogste stand een uitput van ca 2300 lumen.In de beschrijving staat dat de batterij het bij hoogste stand 2 uur lang zou volhouden. Dit is dus niet waar.

Great performance (both lumen and duration), convenient compact size.BUT, the switch MUST be re-designed. It turns on at the slightest bump and the whole torch becomes literally scalding! Dangerous, it might easily burn skin or melt plastic. The workaround is to unscrew the butt by a couple of turns, but of course this exposes the screw to debris and to the risk of entering in the water with it open (a colored O-Ring would help visually). I am tempted to return the two lights I have bought, but I like the performance so I will try to build a switch guard, but that should be ABSOLUTELY incorporated in the design.

Voici mon retour après 10 plongées, dont 2 de nuits et 4 dans des grottes: Super lumineuse! La lampe est vraiment très puissante. Le faisceau est large mais illumine une large zone de manière très efficace. Je n'ai pas noté de chaleur trop importante sous l'eau. Pour eviter les allumages intempestifs, devisser d'un quart de tour le culot est efficace. J'ai plongé bien sur en oubliant de le resserrer mais je n'ai pas noté d'entree d'eau ( resserré à 5 mètres après 15 secondes d'immersion).Le seul bemol est la fragilité de la peinture qui s'écaille vite dés le moindre coup. Au niveau autonomie, plongée nocturne d'une heure sans problème. J'en ai acheté une deuxieme pour ma compagne qui trouve qsu'elle voit maintenant plus facilement et plus de choses :-)

Ho acquistato questa torcia pochi giorni fa prima di partire per un safari sul Mar Rosso. Il motivo principale che mi ha portato ad acquistarla sono stati proprio i commenti di tutti coloro che l'hanno acquistata prima di me!Beh....devo dire che tutti avevano ragione!!La torcia é davvero fenomenale, nella modalità Turbo fa una luce pazzesca, illumina a giorno tutto quello che c'è intorno. Il cono di luce non é piccolo, anzi, tutt'altro, però con la sua potenza riesce a "bucare" abbastanza bene anche in caso di scarsa luminosità (chiaro che l'acqua non dev'essere completamente torbida!!).Per il tipo di utilizzo che ne ho fatto io (immersioni notturne ricreative circa 35 metri di profondità) direi che é super consigliato l'acquisto. Davvero un prodotto strepitoso. Ah....un'altra cosa molto importante, la durata della batteria, anche questa superlativa!!!! Ho fatto 4 immersioni notturne di circa 60 min cad. e non ho mai caricato la torcia (luce impostata nella modalità alta non Turbo).Unico neo di questo prodotto fantastico, il pulsante d'accensione. Davvero troppo sensibile e a parer mio troppo "low cost". Ci stava bene un bel pulsante "importante" magari contornato da un led colorato che ne indicava lo stato della batteria.Per concludere, consiglio vivamente l'acquisto!

I planned to do some further scuba diving training this summer, and needed a decent torch as the training was taking place in a cold dark quarry. I had a budget of £100 as every one says thats a good starting figure for a good dive torch.I saw this one advertised with an impressive 13000 lumens and 4 super bright LEDs. It is also ok to go as deep as 150m, not that I ever plan to go that deep, it gave me confidence in the build quality.When the torch arrived, it didn't disappoint. It comes safely packaged. Also included was 2 batteries, charger, a cord to attach the torch to you whilst diving and some spare o rings. After every dive it is so important to clean the o rings and check for any sand or debris on them. Also add a tiny bit of silicone grease to keep them supple. If they show signs of cracking or bulging swap in the spare ones and use the old ones as a guide to buy more.Ive been using the torch every dive and it is far brighter than any one else's on my course. Our water suffers poor visibility so at least we can communicate using our torch lights when we can't actually see each other. I feel so much safer having this reliable torch with me.It also has a good weight to it, very solid and a nice size to hold.It is 1/2kg so taking this torch diving allowed me to drop a bit of weight from my weight belt too. Im going to order another smaller one to keep in my bcd pocket as a back up for redundancy too.As you can see in one of the photos, I took the torch on a night dive. Wow the sea was lit up so bright! It was an incredible experience!
